I have been natural for about three years now. It wasn’t hard giving up a perm for me because even when I got perms it was only maybe 2-3 times a year. So I thought why not go natural.
Going natural was one of the best and worst things I’ve ever done. I love seeing my natural curl pattern form and watching my hair grow back so long and full. On the other hand it was so thick and shrinkage was crazy. My biggest challenge was finding what products worked best for my hair texture.
A friend suggested Design Essentials Natural Line. I thought this would just be another product to try that wouldn’t work. I was WRONG!!!! My hair is moisturized for days and so easy to manage, which was new because my hair is so thick. All other products would leave my hair dry and feeling like sand paper.
I purchased the Shampoo, leave in conditioner, and curl cream. These products gave me more confidence about wearing my natural hair more and I just had to share with you guys because I’m sure I’m not the only natural girl that had this issue.
