The Five Key Tips to Always Feel Confident…

Being confident is not always easy. Especially as a woman that goes through so many changes in life. After giving birth to my son I was lost. I didn’t know what clothes I liked, my hobbies, and I was HUGE. My son is a toddler now and I think I’ve pretty much got my confidence back but it was tough. Here is what helped me out…

Tips to help you become more Confident

  • Dress to Kill– I love doing my make up and getting all dolled up. Confidence doesn’t just come from how you feel but it’s a part of how you look. Don’t get me wrong you should be confident no matter what you’re wearing but it’s just something different about putting in the extra effort. “When you look good, you feel good” such a true statement. Get dressed up, even if your just going grocery shopping.
  •  Make Healthy Food Choices– This is easily said then done, I know! When I’m eating LOTS of unhealthy fast food and not drinking enough water I feel HORRIBLE. My skin will start to go crazy and of course I’ll gain weight, and that’s definitely not in the plan. This can also affect your confidence. Taking baby steps to healthy choices will make you feel much better.
  • No negative Energy– GET RID OF NEGATIVE THOUGHTS! The words that we speak to ourselves have so much power no matter if it is good or bad. It’s so important to speak and try to think positive because you will start to believe these words or thoughts. No negative energy also means to eliminate those negative relationships. Always pay attention to the way people make me feel, it’s important.
  • Be kind– It doesn’t cost anything to be nice to people. I was always taught to “treat others how you would like to be treated” I’ve never let go of that. If you’re a decent person LOL, being nice to others will make you feel good about yourself.
  • Love yourself– Last but not least know who you are and love yourself. Everyone has flaws, no one is perfect. Try to accept yourself for who you are and take baby steps towards improvement.

I hope you guys find my tips helpful. Most of the time I’m pretty confident in my body but just like any other human or woman I have my days. Everything is a process.
