As you guys know my 31st birthday was a couple weeks ago. I’ve never really been huge on birthdays for some reason. I usually just take it as a normal day that I was born on. As I get older I realize it’s more then just a normal day. My birthday is actually another year I made it through. 2020 has taught me not to take anything for granted especially my LIFE. Life is a GIFT
This year I decided I wanted to treat myself. I wanted to buy myself a few gifts that I’ve been putting off and go to the beach. That’s it! I didn’t make it to the beach due to rain, but I did get to treat myself. So let’s get into what I got, of course everything was on sale.
First is this cute dress or Kimono from my girl Nae’s boutique Bessie Rose . I’m so in love with this piece! The quality is amazing and I love that I can wear it multiple ways. Today I decided to wear it with jeans and basic sandals. This piece will also be a beach cover up, dress, and top. Make sure you check her out!
My second gift I had my eye on for the last year. This amazing swimsuit from Andrea Iyamah . The details and the color is what stood out to me with this piece. Once I got it in the mail the quality made me even more excited about this swimsuit. I caught it for a really good price as well. She’s currently having a sale and the customer service is amazing.
I saved the best gift for last. If you follow me on Instagram I posted this piece on my Instagram stories, because I just couldn’t wait to show y’all. It’s these amazing jeans from Solace London. A few months back I saw Fisayo Longe with these and immediately checked the price. At the time they were almost $400, so that was definitely out of the question. A few weeks ago I checked the price again just for fun and saw that they were on sale for $100. It was God and it was my Birthday, I bought them. Beyoncé also wore this brand in “Black is KING” so it was a must have.
This post was not to brag. I just wanted y’all to know that it’s nice to treat yourself every once and while. We work too hard to just pay bills. Plus you only live once, enjoy this life.
Until Next Time…
